February ... goodbye and good riddance!

It seems like February has lasted way too long here in eastern NC. The cold gray days have really gotten me down. Hope March brings lots of sunshine.I need to get busy and finish up some sewing projects.Think I will start with my double delight......I am ashamed to say I stopped halfway through and haven't touched it in months.Maybe March will be the month I get it finished,that's my goal anyway. Hope everyone has a great first day of March.

Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt Along

I've signed up at Moose ON The Porch Quilts for the jelly roll quilt along. It starts on March 1 so I have a few weeks to round up stray jelly roll strips. I think I will go for a scrappy look since I don't have a whole jelly roll and don't need to invest in more fabric. I'm looking forward to this one. I really miss the block of the month since my local quilt shop closed.

We finally had a nice day so I tried to take miss Jesslyn on her first outside stroller ride....she was not a fan!

Finally a quilt picture

Baby Jesslyn on a quilt I made her mama a few years ago. I made this in workshop. A panel in the center but I can't remember the name of the blocks. I have a kit to make another one but can't find the block instructions. I may just use a disappearing nine patch. I think that would be alot faster.

Found this starving kitty under my shrubs today. I think I know who her sorry owner is but I have catnapped her. She has been inside a few hours and is already ruling the roost. I think she may be a keeper :-)
