Good Will Good Day

I went to Goodwill after work today and made some happy finds. I usually go in the morning, but now think evenings might be more promising. I bought a new in the box set of glasses made from wine bottles. I googled and they sell for $25. I had to think hard before paying $4.99 for them(yes I am a cheapo). I collect egg plates and was tickled to find this wooden one for 99cents. I also found the glass jar , it is really heavy and I think it's an older piece. I plan on filling it up with some of my buttons or wooden thread spools. My best find was the quilting goodies.....two square up rulers, six quilting templates, and dresden plate templates. I have wanted to make some dresden blocks and didn't have templates. I'm off tomorrow and hope to get caught up on my jelly roll blocks and finish a baby quilt.

I'm thinking of opening an Etsy shop. I ebayed for years but it is just not what it used to be. Anyone have any luck on Etsy? I have a large antique doll collection to sell and lots of other interesting old stuff.
I tried linking to Trift day Monday on Apron Thrift Girl ...hope it works.

It worked. Thanks so much for taking part in Thrift Share Monday. I find Etsy hit or miss. If you have a niche it can be very successful. I'd certainly give it a go.

Our Goodwill stores give a 10% senior citizen discount. My husband and I always chuckle about that but we take it!
