Help!

okay the black border is out!
I am so tired of worrying with this quilt! My daughter bought the fabrics over 2 years ago. I bought the black batik and planned on using it to sash 16" blocks of the batiks and white....thought it would break all those squares up. Now I am worried that it is too busy. What do you think of this layout with a wide border of the black batik. I want this finished and at the quilters by the weekend. I orginally made this with big split nine patch and she didn't like it so now we have all these squares. ugh

Anna, I really like the white and batik squares. I'm not crazy about the black batik, but I don't hate it. Maybe the colors in the black show better in person? Have you tried a plain white instead? That would look crisp and fresh.

I LOVE the colors in your quilt. They are bright and so cheery. If you feel like being more bold, pick one of the colors and make that the border color. It will settle the white you are worried about and frame the entire quilt beautifully.

What a fun quilt...not to crazy about the border but maybe once it is quilted it will take on a differnt face? If you had some of the other batiks, maybe a piano border? Bethany has a great idea.

I like this one just the way it is! Do you need a border to make it big enough? If not just leave it! It's beautiful! :0)
