I made two small baby quilts yesterday from stash. I counted the binding for them and the larger rejected quilt. I finally used the last of the green minky I bought when my quilt shop went out of business several years ago. I am so happy to use it up! Minky is just too stretchy and slippery to make the quilting process enjoyable.

You're doing good on busting your stash... and thanks for the comment on the Minkee! My LQS is pushing Minkee and I haven't bitten yet... now I won't!
Yeah for getting rid of Minkee. I had to just service my machine as I finished a few of those. No more Minkee for me.
I've not used Minkee, either, but I don't think I ever will.
….my friends and I were discussing Minkee just the other day. Thanks for reinforcing what I thought even though I've never worked with it.
Oh but I bet it was soft for the backing.
