batting review

I used fusi boo batting for the first time in my zigzag quilt. I didn't have trouble with the ironing but didn't think it held too well. It didn't have any odor like the spray baste and that was nice. It seems too thin and flat to me. Hobbs heirloom is still my favorite batting. I usually end up buying warm and natural at my local Hancocks instead of ordering the Hobbs. What is your favorite bat?
I am hand quilting the zigzag with perle cotton and a big stitch. I love my Barnett's lap hoop!

I have been using Warm & Natural (or White) and like it. Warmth is not much of an issue in the land where snowfall is almost a State holiday. *lol*

The W&N/W&W are plenty warm and wash so nicely. All five grandchildren are sleeping under quilts with W&N/W&W.

I have been using Warm & Natural and like it. I use it as I got a whole bolt with a 50% coupon so I have plenty on hand.

I like W&N due to scrim. Helps keep my quilt flat under the machine and being able to quilt up to 10" apart is a plus at times :-)! My boys are little heaters so no poly keeps them a little cooler. The one thing I don't like are the creases from folding. However, with washing that tendency disappears.
