I'm back after a six week blogging break. I started this quilt as a challenge for quilt guild that would be due Dec. 2011. But alas I am a guild dropout! The challenge was to make a quilt that included 20 blocks with 11 pieces each. I pulled it out yesterday and decided to surround those blocks with snowballs. This will be queen size and is for my bed. I won all the Gervais fabric in two giveaways last fall. I've added Kona papaya and espresso. I love these colors and hope to finish soon.

I must confess, I am a guild drop out too. And I don't feel bad about it, I just didn't want to. Ok that said, I need to get cracking on my UFO's. Lovely quilt and to have all of the fabric WON, that's a bonus!
Love the colors! Don't sweat the drop out thing! I'm a firm believer in doing what you want when you want to. We are too old to make excuses, well I am anyway! hehehe.
Love your colour palette on this quilt!
Guild dropout here, too. I find that I keep way too busy to have other people coming up with things for me to do. Love your quilt and the border is beautiful.
Oooh, good solution. I love the look of combining the two blocks in your quilt. That made for a very interesting border.
Ohhhh I love what you are doing!!
Exciting colors!
Until blogging I was a "lone quilter" and never even joined a guild, so you are way ahead of me.
