My mama gave me this quilt a few weeks ago. She hand pieced the top and started quilting it in the early 1980's. It has been in a closet since then. If I finish the quilting it's mine. Hope I can get it done. I've never handquilted anything this huge.

Oh wow aren't you blessed. What a great quilt. Looks like something I might have done back in the 80's :-) Hope you can get it finished. It isn't that hard to do the hand quilting, it just takes some time. Thanks for sharing the picture.
