Peace by Piece Guild April

Quilt guild met last night and as usual a good time was had by all.

Kris and Roy quilted this for a customer. I wish the beautiful quilting showed up better in the picture.

Connie made the blue bag for a shop sample. I didn't get the name of the pattern. Love the picket top and the woven fabrics. She finished up her dishtowel bag that I tried to teach at the Feb. meeting. She changed the handles and top and I like hers better than the original.

I of course....once again....was not a finisher and had nothing for show and tell. Kris showed us a neat way to cut bias binding. We made plans for our May retreat. Eleanor Burns show and then a "quilt in" at the fire station. I can't wait.

Rescue Me

Once again my parents came to the rescue! I wish I didn't need rescuing, but thank God for great parents when I do. I'm sure my neighbors are thankful for them too. Weeds are mowed....someone took the misery maker off the curb during the night and the joy mower was delivered. Life is good!

Put me out of my misery....

this miserable piece of junk has been tormenting me. It will not start....none of my tricks will work......I ran away to the beach hoping the weeds in my yard would disappear......I have beat it and cussed it soundly but still it only buzzes at me.....I can't afford a new rider.....I am too darn old to push this yard....pet goats?? might work.....I hope I feel better after I push this misery maker to the curb and say some last words over it .....

Put me out of my misery

I'd do it for you,

Would you do it for me?

We will always be busy, making misery

so long miserable mower .... hope you do not RIP

Whole lot of sunshine

in Salter Path today. Hope it lasts all weekend. I'll be doing a whole lot of sunning and reading. No sewing, but will get back to that next week. Have a great weekend everyone.
