Simply Teacakes

There are lots of fancy holiday cookies out there but my favorite is a simple little teacake. Now if I can just control my sweet tooth and not eat them all.

recipe
1 cup butter soft
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 Tblsp. Vanilla
3 cups flour all purpose
1 Tblsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla and mix well. I use a wooden spoon but a mixer is easier. Add baking powder and salt to flour. Stir in flour. Drop by teaspoon and bake at 375 for 10 minutes or until bottom edge of cookie is brown. I line my pan with foil or parchment.

You tempt us with that luscious picture, but don't include the recipe?? Happy eating!

Looks yummy! I was just thinking today that instead of making another ooey gooey marshmallow/chocolate,caramel concontion, I would make my grandmother's oatcakes for a change.
Hugs,
