I have too many projects in progress and I tend to flit from one to the other instead of finishing something. This zigzag has been on my design wall for weeks. It's not big enough and I just couldn't decide to how to make it bigger since I used two thrift store aloha shirts for the fabric. Last Friday I found another of the navy and white shirts in goodwill. Whoever would have thought that two identical size xxl shirts that were made in Hawaii would end up in my small town. I have some kona yellow that I think will work instead of the other print. I want to have this finished before I go back to the beach with my cousin. She hasn't been able to spend much time at her beach home since her brother had a brain bleed, but we all hope she will back there full time soon.

Your first sentence - me too! Looks like a cool quilt and congrats on finding what you need.
I think we saw this guy on the pier at EI Saturday...he was good, doing flips etc...
L O V E the yellow quilt...
miss seeing you!!
Lovely blocks--I think Kona yellow would be a wonderful choice.
What a great quilt idea! Thanks for sharing the beach picture!
What luck finding the second blue shirt. I would use the part you have made for the center of the quilt and put the other yellow & blue all the way around. You could even separate the two with a small sashing, it would look so planned. Looking forward to seeing it finished, I know it will be lovely whatever you decide.
