Auditioning stash for alternate blocks.
Two of these are a definite no. I could put the blocks on the diagonal on all but the first one. I have enough blocks for a large quilt for my bed. Will I regret not making something like this for alternates?
If you think one of the solid blocks would work let me know which one you'd choose.

Wow... amazing how different the blocks look with the various fabrics... I don't know how you could regret using those lovely blocks... very, very nice!
My favorite is picture number 4. Love the movement it adds.

I vote for either 1 or 4.
Number 4 looks the best as is, but #1 could work too if you fussy cut the fabric...It would look like wreaths in the center of each square. Of course I am only seeing a picture of it...it's hard not seeing it in person.
I know it might be kinda busy, but I like the 2nd one!!
Cannot reason why - but I am partial to number 2 - I kinda like number 4. Wow what a difference a little fabric makes. Judy C
I like number 2. It would be a lively quilt, but eye-catching in a good way :-)
#4. The gold tones brighten it up.
The fourth one. It adds lots of interest without detracting from the patch blocks. :-)
